Had the pleasure of attending this Saddle Skedaddle holiday in September 2024 and put together this short video highlighting the routes and people and fun we had. The sound track comes from an evening session of "desert island discs" we all did on the last night. A trip to remember and recommend.
This was a nice ride that ended with a bit of a crash and I ended up in A&E, thankfully with just cuts and bruises, and no broken bones. Got patched up and rescued on the side of the road by Karen and David Williams, and my bike got rescued by Jim Barker. Tricky ending but got to see the best of human nature. Injuries to my eye and chin shown in picture on the left.
Really enjoyed taking advantage of a work trip to Barcelona in February and staying the weekend to rent a bike in Girona and go exploring on a semi professional bike,
